Rough Guide to Fitting Granite Over-treads.

Make sure heights of existing steps are ok to door and no higher than weep holes on PVC doors. Some existing steps may need to be altered in order to install granite over treads.

Clean down existing door steps removing old paint, adhesives and tiles.

Clean down granite over treads removing residue and dust using mild soap, leaving them to dry before installing them.

Make sure all panels fit ok and if any cutting is needed it’s carried out before any adhesives are applied.

Always start at bottom step when installing granite over - treads using two stainless steel clips to support bottom riser.

We recommend using power grab n bond to install granite over-treads following manufacturers instructions.

We recommend sealing joints on steps once installed using Ct1 following manufacturers instructions.

Any recommended tiler, builder or stone mason will be able to fit this system.
